Cyreeta Smith Sociology 482 Professor Barbosa August 20, 2014 Human Trafficking I will examine the Sex Industry and Immigration. My main focus will be the economic growth of Human Trafficking and the exploitation of individuals who are victims due to the Sex Industry from a global perspective. According to the literature I have reviewed human trafficking crimes against humanity. The objective of human trafficking can involve acts of harboring, transporting, recruiting or receiving a person through the use of force against their will. An estimated 1 million are trafficked into the sex industry and the volume keeps increasing. Many researchers believe that the actual number are extremely higher than the estimated numbers, pointing out that many instances of trafficked into indentured or enslaved work other than prostitution,
